#BuildBetterBrains Project

Making Music Makes You Smarter

Patrons received exclusive early access to this post.

Finally, at long last, I have wrapped up the tutorial for the introductory measures of “Evening Prayer” from Hansel and Gretel. Everyone who has been following along over the last few months should now be able to play through the entire tune!

Meanwhile, I've gotten a lot of work done on our new studio, so expect a patron-exclusive update about that shortly. In fact, it is likely the next video you watch will be filmed there!

I cannot overstate how much your support over the the last several months has made in launching this #BuildBetterBrains educational series.  Thank you.

Right now, the best support you can provide is to share these videos widely and encourage friends to join in support as patrons.  YouTube also measures viewer interactions, so your recommendations and questions in YouTube video comments are very valuable. As always, be sure to smash the thumbs-up icon to like the videos, subscribe on YouTube, and ring the notification bell.  This is extremely important signaling to YouTube that helps them know to share my videos with other people who are into music and handbells.

I wouldn't be able to do this without you. Thank you again, and best wishes for the new year.

Let's #BuildBetterBrains Together

What to do until the next video? As always, these are the most helpful:

  • Share my posts and videos with your friends wherever you social.
  • Subscribe to my channel on YouTube and comment on each video.
  • Smash those like buttons on my Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr posts, and leave a note about what was good.
  • Suggest your genius, wacky, or just plain good ideas about what I can do better.

Finally, please ask your friends and colleagues to join you in your support of this cause with a shout out on Facebook or post on Twitter or even a good old fashioned personal email. Thank you again. Let's make music together. Let's #BuildBetterBrains.
